The United States of America
This is our operating vision, our mission statement and brand.
Our goal and objective for people, groups and institutions:
A more perfect union.
Declaration of Independence.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that
- all men (people) are created equal,
- that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,
- that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.—
- That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men (and Women),
- deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, —
Preamble to
The Constitution of the United States of America:
We the People of the United States, in Order to…
- form a more perfect Union,
- establish Justice,
- insure domestic Tranquility,
- provide for the common defense,
- promote the general Welfare,
- and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,
do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
These are statements of vision, mission and who we are. The Founders did not say these were accomplished or finished in 1776. These are worth working for and praying into.
